These are commonly found assisting the automatic flush of urinals & toilets in public buildings such as schools, pubs and restaurants in conjunction with a timer controller. Some are available in very low battery voltages and feature a latching coil for power saving. These valves can also be used in simple systems such as touchless taps, driven by a signal from a PIR sensor. Both the 262 & 210 series of these valves can be specified with 15mm compression fittings so most plumbers can install with minimal hassle.
