The TTV High Performance Double Offset Butterfly Valves provide a reliable leak tight shut off for some of the most demanding applications. Optional seat materials include the R-PTFE which is recommended for mediums including aggressive chemicals, LPG/LNG, petroleum, ethylene and vacuum with a flexible metal seat available for higher temperature requirements and mediums such as saturated steam, gases, bitumen and thermal oil. The metal seat also complies with BS 6755 part 2 or API 6FA/607 fire safety.

The Colossus is a high performance grade butterfly valve with superior performance characteristics that makes it ideal for use in demanding environments where most other butterfly valves would not survive and has been designed for use with both gasses and liquids.

Due to the double offset movement, the rotation of the disc is eccentric over the seat. The rotational circular movement of the disc turns into an elliptical movement. So, the disc achieves just a few degrees contact with the seat before the valve is fully closed.
