VTMR Series Spring Return Electric Actuator

The VTMR series spring return electric actuator employs a spring-driven pinion and rack mechanism, providing torque ranges from 50Nm to 300Nm. This actuator operates under normal power conditions with a motor-driven system that simultaneously stores energy in the spring. In the event of a power outage, the spring releases this energy, activating the actuator to ensure that the connected equipment swiftly returns to a safe position, either fully open or closed. This process is secure and stable, effectively preventing any sudden pipe bursts (hammer-blow effect).

The heater maintains optimal temperatures to prevent lubrication oil from freezing due to cold conditions and keeps the internal actuator dry, thus avoiding product malfunction from moisture. Using a heater is not advised if operating temperatures exceed 35°C. To accommodate significant temperature variations between day and night, and across seasons, installing a temperature control switch set to 25°C ± 5°C in front of the heater is advisable. This setup ensures the heater functions efficiently under fluctuating conditions.

The temperature control switch for the heater will disconnect the circuit to stop the heating process if the actuator's internal temperature surpasses 25°C ± 5°C (77°F ± 9°F).
