Due to the double offset movement, the rotation of the disc is eccentric over the seat. The rotational circular movement of the disc turns into an elliptical movement. So, the disc achieves just a few degrees contact with the seat before the valve is fully closed. Is this butterfly valve suitable for use on chemicals?

Can this valve be supplied as a spring return electric or battery backup?

Not in its current format however we can offer both options. Get in touch through sales@actuation.co.uk or 0151 547 1221 and we will run through some safety options with you for quoting.

Does this butterfly valve come with operation and maintenance manuals?

It certainly does. All of our PTFE butterfly valves come complete with a full set of operations and maintenance manuals from the manufacturer.

I need position feedback. Is this included?

Yes! Position feedback is included as standard with switches for open and closed positions.

Can you give me extra discount if I need more than one Colossus Butterfly valve?

Is this Valve Fire Safe?

Metal - Metal Seat complies with BS 6755 Part 2 or API 6FA/607 (Fire Safety). Valve only.

I need a bigger size that is not listed. Can you help?

Most definitely. We will require some more information. Drop us an email or get in touch on the blower.

Can you deliver direct to my customer?

Yes we can. Plane label or with a big bow. Send us a copy of your delivery note and we will fix it to the box. Job done.
