Lugged Manual Butterfly Valves are commonly used in piping systems as a dead end service Valve or where regular/predicted disconnecting of the pipe on either side may need to be removed for maintenance and installation without disruption to both sides of the line. The single piece body with threaded lugs is installed using two sets of bolts (One set for each flange) and enables the installer precise self centering capabilities of the valve due to the body design between flanges.
