The 20L3040 are commonly used in piping systems as a dead end service Valve or where regular/predicted disconnecting of the pipe on either side may need to be removed for maintenance and installation without disruption to both sides of the line. Lugged Type High Performance - Double Offset

Lug-style valves have threaded inserts at both sides of the body that allow them to be installed with only bolts and no nuts. The valve is placed between two flanges, one on each side. This setup permits either piece of piping disconnected without affecting the complete process. Due to the double offset movement, the rotation of the disc is eccentric over the seat. The rotational circular movement of the disc turns into an elliptical movement. So, the disc achieves just a few degrees contact with the seat before the valve is fully closed. Less Space In The Pipeline

Less space, results in less material, bringing significantly lower costs in the process. As part of Isolation applications, our valves can be fully open or fully closed with quarter turn movement (90 Degrees) of the functioning lever or actuator. When closed, the reliable seal and disc can provide 100% leak tight downstream shutoff and low-pressure loss across the valve when opened through a streamlined, energy saving metallic disc. These types of valves can also be used to regulate flow pressure or temperature through a multi-position lockable lever or 4-20mA 3-15 psi control.

Main Components

The main components consist of the Body, Shaft, Disc, Elastic Ring (Seat/Seal) O-Ring, Circlip, Washer & Mounting Flange. All of which are available in different materials and specifications to suit your application requirements including Ductile/Cast Iron, Stainless Steel, Duplex, Aluminium Bronze, Carbon Steel & Super Duplex. Depending on application requirements, these valves are also available in a number of body designs including Wafer, Lugged, Flanged, Double Flanged, Triple Offset, Grooved End and High Performance.

Actuated Butterfly Valves

These valves are available in both pneumatic and electric operation and can be beneficial for use in remotely accessed areas, valves that require larger torque figures to operate, timing or synchronisation and reliability. Pneumatically Actuated Butterfly Valves provide the quickest form of operational control for open/close functionality and are available in both double acting and spring return units with either direct/solenoid operation. Spring Return units can be set up in a fail-safe closed mode for critical lines were the Valve will return to the closed position upon the event of power failure through the loaded springs. Fail-safe open Valves are also available upon request.

Lever Or Gear Operated

Our manually operated ranges are available both lever and gear box operated for quarter and multi turn operation. Manually lever operated valves offer quick acting open and close solutions with all units as standard available with a notch plate lockable notch plate design. Gear operators are more commonly found found on larger units of 8" and above however can still be supplied on valves as small as 2". As well as our standard mild steel coated lever and gear operators Actuation Valve also stock stainless steel and aluminium bronze. Our stainless steel and aluminium bronze lever and gear boxes are suitable of harsh, hazardous and corrosive environemnts typically seen in the chemical, petro-chemical and off shore industries. Additional options that can be made to order include extensions, chain wheel operators and pedestal stands.

Limit Switch Position Feedback

Actuation Valve offer a number of options for valve position sensing and monitoring. Encorporating product solutions from various manufacturing partners including TopWorx and Viz Switch we are able to provide discrete and reliable position sensing to enable a more intelligent production operation that can both improve efficiency and reduce downtime. All of our position sensing units are sourced from carefully chosen manufacturers and approvals include IP67 safe area for standard process industry requirments to ATEX hazardous area. Visual indication is also provided by a top beacon with red, green, black and yellow the most common site requirements (Others available upon request). The TopWorx DXP unit also offers a flat top design without beacon for confined space or where visual indication is not a critcal on site requirment.
