Auxiliary Oil Support Vessels for Aircraft Carriers

Actuation Valve & Control LTD have recently secured a major new contract with the Ministry Of Defence to supply over 1000 Manual, Electrically Actuated & Gear Operated Valve packages for 4 New Auxiliary Oil Ships to be built over the next 2 years. The project, which comes in at over half a million pound will see Butterfly Valves, Ball Valves, Check Valves & Y-Strainers from sizes 3/“-8” in Aluminium Bronze & Stainless Steel Materials. With the ships being built in Korea, the specification of JIS 16K Flanges has lead to some changes in the usual design but with the combined expertise from Actuation Valve & Control and their leading supply Manufacturers we have overcome this with brand new castings and will deliver on a ship by ship basis as the year progresses. This new fleet, will be finished in time to service the two state of the art Aircraft Carriers also currently being built by the Ministry Of Defence for the British Royal Navy.
