Steam Solenoid Valves 290 Series

The Asco 290 steam series is available in sizes ranging from 3/8" - 3/4" with body & stem materials consisting of AIS 316L stainless steel. The solenoid valve body design features a high flow angled seat with fluid entering under the disc. The 290 series Asco solenoid valve incorporates an anti-waterhammer structure which can prevent unwanted maintenance to the valve or further down the pipeline. Seal materials consist of NBR & FPM for the wiper and disc. 

The IP65 rated actuator is rotatable through 360° for easy installation and operation with the option for a fail safe position upon the event of a power failure. The medium or fluid is completely isolated between the electrical actuator and the valves body. A simple and clear LED display provides a quick visual position indication in the field.

The 290 series steam valves from Asco satisfy the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, article 3.3 and motorised valves will comply with EMC Directive 2014/30/EU (EN-IEC 61000-6-2 and EN-IEC 61000-6-4) and Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (EN-IEC 60730).
